The city of Brechin is an ideal centre for touring: by-passed by the A90 main trunk route
between Dundee and Aberdeen, it is within easy travelling distance of neighbouring towns
Arbroath, Montrose and Forfar.
An ideal centre from which to visit the coast or glens of Angus, and enjoy walking, cycling,
golf, fishing, birdwatching and other past-times. The Brechin Arts Festival will be held
here in September. For those interested in trains there is the Caledonian steam railway.
