Directions: follow the signs for Brechin town centre, then for the       
Cathedral/Round Tower.   When in Church Street, use the free car   
park, and No 23 is the town house opposite the car park exit .

The city of Brechin is an ideal centre for touring: by-passed by the A90 main trunk route
between Dundee and Aberdeen, it is within easy travelling distance of neighbouring towns
Arbroath, Montrose and Forfar.   

An ideal centre from which to visit the coast or
glens of Angus, and enjoy walking, cycling,
golf, fishing,  birdwatching and other past-times.   The Brechin Arts Festival will be held
here in September.  For those interested in trains there is the
Caledonian  steam railway.

Pictavia a visitor centre which tells the story of  Scotland's ancient Pictish
tribes.
This is situated within the
Brechin Castle Centre grounds.  Glamis Castle is within easy
driving distance as are  many  other places of historical interest.
